Hello! I am a Freelance Illustrator and Educator based in Nottingham.

Recently, I completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art where I experimented creatively with materials and process. This enriching experience now informs my artistic approach, in particular the use of sketchbooks to observe, document and trial ideas for final artwork.

Commissioned projects include working with Challenge Nottingham, The National Justice Museum, The National Trust, Nottingham Castle Trust and The Arts Council, actively celebrating strong connections to History, Heritage and Locality.

As an Educator, I am committed to exploring the enriching interdisciplinary relationship between Art and Education through delivering workshops to schools and community groups and teaching at Nottingham Trent University.

I am drawn to stories that explore human experiences through metaphor, which is why I am particularly drawn to Science Fiction. My MA project ‘Life on Mars’ is a story I conceived and illustrated which responded to the physical and emotional consequences of living through covid, which was shortlisted for the Batsford Prize 2022.
