Life on Mars

Living through a global pandemic prompted me to metaphorically investigate how our need for human connection is brought into sharp focus when a form of isolation becomes a necessity. I arrived upon the idea of settlers establishing a community on Mars, with daily routines continuing in an abnormal setting. The story also weaves educational themes relating to planet Mars.

Georgi, his botanist mother and their cat relocate for a short period of time to planet Mars, trying to continue living ordinary lives in an extraordinary environment.
